Jova Carmen Oranday Heredia “Jobie”, age 58, of Lamesa Tx, passed away September 2,2023 in Odessa Tx.

Jova was born in Lamesa Texas to Virginia Sanchez and Maximo Oranday on February 5, 1965. She resides in Odessa and married Ralph Heredia.

Thursday September 7th 2023 we will be gathering at Martinez Funeral Home for the remembrance of our beloved. Viewing will be from 1-9 p.m, following a prayer at 7-9 p.m. hosted by Kristy Olivas.

Jova had a heart of gold,and was so beautiful in and out and was a very kind person. She was always happy and had a positive outlook in life. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone around her. She loved BINGO and her BINGO friends. Jova loved to cook and post pictures on Facebook. As well as going for snow cones with her baby sister Cecilia. She enjoyed the outdoors and barbecuing. As much as she adored her loved ones, her 9 yorkies were loved twice as much. As we all have hobbies one of her many ones were going to garage sales and trying to bargain with the ones she wanted for her collection. She touched the lives of many and will be forever missed ,as many say don’t remember this day but remember the days I lived and spent my time enjoying this sweet but short life we live. So cherish each moment and live as if it was your last.

Jova is surviving by her husband, Ralph Heredia. Brother : James Oranday and spouse Veronica. Brother: Ernesto Oranday Sister: Cecilia Hernandez. Sister in law: Anna Heredia. Children son : Johnnie Oranday and spouse Dolores. Daughter: DeAnn Hernandez and spouse Guadalupe Molina Jr. Followed by 7 grandchildren: Damian Hernandez and Spouse Maria, Dominique H. Monroy and spouse Jesus, Treasure-Lee Molina, Nathaniel Oranday and spouse Caitlyn, Jasmine Oranday, Brianna Oranday and JoAngel Oranday and she had 7 great grandchildren. Along with multiple cousins and friends that were like family.
