Juan Ramos

Juan C. Ramos, 85 of Odessa, passed away on January 17, 2022 in Odessa, Tx.

Juan was born in Ojinaga Chihuahua Mexico to Hilario Ramos and Inez Carrasco on February 8th 1936.

He went to school at Rancho Salitre. He married the love of his life Petra B Heredia on April 23rd 1966 in Ojinaga. He worked as a night guard at Two Rivers Pipeline till he was 76 years old.

He was always an early riser and loved to spend his weekends grilling at home surrounded by his family and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed having his great grandchildren at his “Daddy daycare.” Everyone that knew him knew to have coffee ready for him when he came to visit.

Juan Ramos is preceded in death by both his parents Hilario Ramos and Inez Carrasco, His sister Maria R Olivas, his brothers Victor Ramos, Luis Ramos, Concepcion Ramos, Ezequiel Ramos and Manuel Ramos.

Juan Ramos is survived by his wife, Petra Ramos. Children: Veronica Lujan, Ismael Rodriguez, and Rosario Ortiz, spouse Cesar Ortiz. Brothers: Gerardo Ramos, Leonardo Ramos, and Hilario Ramos Jr. Grandchildren: Isamar Camacho, Jamalet Lujan, Yaralee Lujan, Crystal Carbajal, Annette Carrasco spouse Emmanuel Carrasco, Annais Rodriguez, Vanessa Hinojos, spouse Victor Hinojos and Cesar Ortiz Jr. and 17 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Emmanuel Carrasco, Emmanuel Carrasco Jr., Ismael Arroyo, Francisco Camacho, Cesar Ortiz Jr. and Gabriel Lujan.
