Juan Morales

Juan V. Morales, 49, of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Home.

Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Frank Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in the Peaceful Gardens.

Juan was born in Chihuahua, Mexico to Antonio Morales and Elvira Valenzuela on March 7, 1968. He attended school in Odessa, Texas. He worked as a chef for most of his life.

Juan is preceded in death by his father Antonio Morales and his nephews Jonathon Morales and Ruben Wood.

Left to cherish his memory include his spouse Shabriel Huerta; daughters Victoria Morales, Johnnie Morales, Janell Morales, Klaressa Morales, and Pricilla Morales; son Jaeson Morales; sibilings Rodrigo Morales, Carmen Morales, Bertha Morales, Hector Morales, Jesus Morales, Lucy Morales, Elvira Morales, Ana Morales, Antonio Morales, and Angie Morales; mother Elvira V. Morales, and grandchildren Laylah Longoria, Genesis Briones, Julian Briones, Katya Briones, Julio Castillo, and Julianna Castillo.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Morales, Angel Morales, Juan Adan Villarreal, Jose Rodriguez, Cory Higginbotham, David Wood, and Jaeson Morales.
