Heaven gained an angel, Juan Rodriguez Torres, 70, of Odessa left to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 26, 2020.
Juan was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, to Severo & Maria De La Luz Torres on October 13, 1958.
Juan was a beloved husband to his wife Manuela of 44 years, wonderful father to his children, and an amazing “TATA” to his grandkids. His love for his family was immense and would do anything for them in addition was cherished and respected by many. He was dedicated and loved his job, where he hated missing work. Juan was loyal to Big D Companies for 20 years where he was a truck driver. His wife & kids would always joke with him and tell him he loved his job more than he did them but his family knew they were #1.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents: Severo & Maria De La Luz Torres, his daughter Veronica Torres & his son Victor E. Torres.
Juan was loved tremendously and will be missed by so many. Juan leaves behind his wife Manuela Montoya De Torres, his daughters: Alexelena Lopez, Elizabeth & husband Jaime Perez, his sons Juan Torres Jr. & Juan Urquidi all of Odessa. His wonderful Grandkids that loved him so much Anthony Lopez, Veronica Lopez, Jasmine Lopez, Aiden Lopez, Adam Montoya, Brian Villa, Jaime Perez, Isaac Perez, Madison Perez, Jaelynn Torres, Exciana Torres, Jasslin Torres, Victor Torres Lara, Berenice Torres Lara, Socorro Maldonado & Frank Munoz.
3- Great Grand Daughters: Keira Victoria Rico Torres, Yitzel Dayana Torres, Keilany A. Rico Torres.
His sister Maria Elena Torres.
His Brothers Manuel Torres, Jesus Torres, Santiago Torres, Jose Luis Torres, Rogelio Torres & Miguel Torres.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 1pm to 9pm. Rosary will be Tuesday, December 8th @ 7pm @ Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Martinez Funeral Home 1040 s. Dixie, Odessa Texas.
Pallbearers will be Jose Torres, Miguel Torres, Juan Urquidi, Anthony Lopez, Brian Villa, Jaime Perez, Tony Lopez Jr., & Frank Munoz.
The family of Juan Torres wishes to Thank Martinez Funeral Home & St Anthony’s Church for all arrangements and accommodations made during this difficult time.
The Torres family would love to give a big thank you to all of their family and friends for all the wonderful prayers, calls, messages & concerns. They will forever be very grateful for all of you. May God Bless you all.
