Juana Sigala

Juana Sigala, 57, of Odessa, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 in Odessa.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 am Friday, August 25, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Home with Pastor David Campos, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Juana was born in Durango, Mexico to Estanislado and Germana Salgado on December 13, 1959. She married Ramon Sigala on August 14, 1979 in Barron, Wisconsin. She was involved in outreach spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Juana is preceded in death by her husband Ramon Sigala, and her father Estanislado Salgado.

Juana is survived by her children Ivonne Sigala, Juan (J.J.) Sigala and wife Elizabeth Sigala, Erick Sigala and his wife Tifani Yancey; sisters Hortencia Zepeda her husband Jesus Zepeda, Hilaria Villareal, Herminia Salgado, Connie and her husband Jesse Rodriguez, Rufina and her husband Sagrario Chavez, Elsa Salgado, Silvia and her husband Rafael Soto; brother Felipe Salgado of Aurora, Illinois; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Josiah Nunez, Devin Nunez, Jimmy Solis, Junior Ferrer, Mario Zepeda, Oscar Aranda, Tony Aranda, Luis Aranda.

The family of Juana Sigala wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Amaranath Ghanta for his compassion and care; also to the nurses in the CCU at Medical Center Hospital especially Jessica for caring after her patient and our family.
