Julian "Tanis" Villa

Julian Holguin Villa, 79, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on January 6, 2021. He was born on February 12, 1941 in Ojinaga, CHH, born to Sabino and Saturnina Villa. He married Guadalupe Villareal Villa on February 11, 1966 in Big Spring, TX. Julian was the kind of person that everyone relied on! He would drop whatever he was doing just to help you everytime you called him. He was the most caring, funny, and compasionate human being. He loved spending time outside with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren even though he couldn't walk too much he always made the best of it and they all loved him! He loved taking long rides in his car, he would just drive by his loved ones houses just to make sure that they were all ok. He also liked spending his days just sitting in the bench at walmart and HEB just to see who he would see. He was known in Ojinaga for his boxing, he was known for being able to knock his opponent with just one hit. He also loved playing Baseball. He then later came to the Big Spring, TX and worked as a rancher. He then later meet his wife and married her in 1966. They moved to Odessa in 1972. He then started working for Blakely Construction where he later retired. He will forever be remembered!!!!!! He is survived by his daughter Josephine V. Melendez and spouse Raul; son Carlos Villa and spouse Vanessa; daughter Carolina Chavez and spouse Tomas; son Julian Villa Jr. and spouse Yadira; son Antonio Villa and spouse Gloria. Brothers: Emiliano and spouse Martha Villa, Ruben Villa and spouse, and Rogelio Villa and spouse Sister: Graciela Olague and Maria Jesus Suchil, 20 Grandchildren and 36 Great-Grandchildren Julian is proceeded in death by his wife Guadalupe Villareal Villa, his parents Sabino and Saturnina Villa, daughter Irene Villa, grandaughter Imelda Chavez, stepson David Villareal, brother Sabino Villa Jr., and sister Rosario Villa Gavaldon. Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Raul Melendez Jr., Alex Villa, Antonio Villa Jr., Oscar Chavez, Saul Melendez, Julian Villa Jr., Adan Villa, and Herman Chavez Thank you to all the family and friends for all the love and support during this time of grief!
