Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 9,2018 from 9am - 9pm At Martinez Funeral Home.

Wednesday October 10,2018 from 9am-5:30pm At Martinez Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7pm at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

Kassandra Lynn De La Garza was born in Odessa, TX to Aracely Gabaldon and Sergio De La Garza on February 19, 1998. Kassandra graduated from Odessa High School in 2016. She attended Odessa College where she excelled and became part of the honor society of Phi Theta Kappa. She was employed by the Odessa College Testing Center. Kassandra planned to start school at Angelo State University Spring of 2019 to fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher. Kassandra was a beautiful young lady who had a talent for dancing, makeup, and fashion. She was a devoted daughter and sister to two little brothers, Sergio and Elias De La Garza.

Kassandra is preceded in death by her loving mother, Aracely Gabaldon and her little brother, Elias De La Garza, grandparents, Urbano and Anita Gabaldon, and uncles, Alfredo Gabaldon and Rene Gabaldon.

Kassandra is survived by her brother, Sergio R. De La Garza, father, Sergio E. De La Garza, grandparents, Dolores V. De La Garza and Sergio E. De La Garza, uncles, Robert De La Garza and wife Jennifer De La Garza, Ricardo De La Garza and wife Leticia De La Garza, aunts, Olaya Gabaldon Bejarano and husband Jorge Bejarano, and Arlina Gabaldon, her devoted boyfriend, Carlos Tavarez, Jr., and numerous cousins who loved her very much and were very proud of her.
