Kevin Wheeler

Kevin Ross Wheeler, 31, of Odessa, passed away on July 25, 2021 in Odessa.

Visitation will be held from 9:00am - 9:00pm on Thursday, July 29 at Martinez Funeral Home. A Family and Friends gathering will take place on Thursday, July 29 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 30th at Martinez Funeral Home with Pastor Cliff DeArmond of Hope Alive Church Officiating.

Kevin was born in Rankin, TX to the parents of Billy Joe Wheeler and Teresa Michelle Wheeler on July 9, 1990. He attended Permian  High School.  After  which he joined the  Air Force and saw a little of the world. When he left the service, he joined the Oil and Gas industry. Kevin considered himself a bit  of a pool shark, constantly pushing himself to excel in his favored pastime against anyone who was willing to step to the table. He loved riding motorcycles, even though they got the better of him twice. He had a loving heart and was happy to help anyone in need, except for his little brother, but in the end he always helped him too.

Kevin is preceded in death by his Gramps - James Calhoon, his PawPaw - Billy Ross Wheeler, and his cousins. William Ridgley Day and Austin Majors Day.

Kevin is survived by his father Billy Joe Wheeler, his mother Teresa Michelle Wheeler, his Stepdad Jason Nelson, brother Gregory Kyle Wheeler, his Stepbrothers, Jaden Nelson, Caleb Nelson and Kyler Nelson, his MiMi, his Granny and his Grandpa and various Aunts and Uncles and cousins.

Honorary Pallbearers will be- Hunter Inzer, Casey Lewis, Ross Wheeler, Ty Wheeler, Caleb Nelson, and Kyler Nelson

Arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory of Odessa, Texas.
