Laura Bell Stuart, 80, Odessa, Texas passed away on November 19, 2015 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday November 29, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home.
A wake will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday Nov. 29, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Monday November 30, 2015 at Living Vision with the Rev. Milton
Mitchell of Faith Temple Monahan's, Texas officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Garden. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home under the direction of Funeral Directors Tony Lujan and Nancy Olvera.
Laura B. Stuart was born in Coolidge, TX to Roy Shelton Lawrence and Gabriella Lawrence on June 15, 1935. She Attended School in Coolidge, Texas, and Odessa College.
She married Elder Jake D. Stuart on February 13,1964. To this union three children were born Paulette, John, and Carla.
She was the 1st lady at Faith Tempte in Monahan, Texas for 35 years. She was in involved in many departments in the church. A mother, wife, grandmother, quietly working behind the scenes.
Laura B. Stuart is preceded in death by her parents: Roy & Gabriella Lawrence, husband Elder Jake D. Stuart, son, John Lyle Morrison, sisters: Ludie B. Dancer, Bea McCoy, Lera Lawrence, Brothers: Raydell Lawrence, A. D. Lawrence, Clifton Lawrence.
Laura B. Stuart is survived by two daughters: Laura Paulette Shorter (Joell) of Odessa, Texas, Carta
Starling of Marlin, Texas, Stepdaughter Linda Taylor of Lubbock, Texas. Stepson Jerry Williams, of
Marlin, Texas. Brother, R.S. Lawrence (Carrie), Seagraves, Texas, Sisters Dolly Carter, Alma Jean Lawrence, Dallas, Texas, Mae Carroll Johnson (Aubra) San Marcos, Texas, Lorene Colbert, Fort, Worth, Texas.
Grandchildren: Contessa Haynes, Yarsheka Milligan, Nicole Harris, Ricky Harris, Joel Shorter Jr. Iresha Brown, William Brown, Shereika Starling, D'
Shon Starling, Christopher Starling, Alex Williams, Ashley Williams, Anyla Williams, Jeremy Taylor. And a host of Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and others.
