Lee Altus was born in Waxahachie, TX on August 31, 1952 to Mrs. Lula Mae Johnson and Roland "Stoney" Johnson. Lee lived in Kansas for many years before returning to Odessa, TX where she lived until she was called home. Lee was a stay at home mom who had several passions she pursued throughout her lifetime. She loved her kids, nieces, nephews, and grandkids. Lee loved to have the finer things in life and always shared her wealth with family and friends. Even when she didn't have a lot she always gave from her heart even if it was the raw truth. Queen Lee was not shy at all, she was always sure to speak her mind and say exactly what she felt. She had times when she didn't want to be bothered but when she did want company she would leave you smiling ear to ear with her big loud sweet voice and contagious vibrant spirit. She was a complicated and beautiful sprit with feisty attitude. She was so full of life and laughter. Her smile and laugh was simply contagious. Lee was outspoken, Sassy, most definitely classy and her heart was made of pure gold. We all know her for being an animal lover she had many pets throughout her life her last being her dog "Baby". She was one of the best cooks in the Johnson family hands down and was known for heating up her beer. She had a passion for cooking, enjoyed teaching he nieces and nephews how to play games and cook, she had a passion for learning new things, sewing, being creative and spending time with family. We will all miss our life of the party! As she would say this not a goodbye just a "Hang Up"!
