Leona Robinson

Leona Marie Robinson, 65, departed from this life on August 12, 2021. Leona was born in Odessa, Texas on May 24, 1956 to Leo Robinson and Ruby Lee Wallace. She attended Ector High School where she graduated May of 1974. She attended Commercial College with an interest in secretarial skills. She was later employed at Levi Strauss and Texas Instruments in Midland, Texas.

Leona went on to pursue her own business in lawn care. She enjoyed her profession so much that she often bragged about being so good at it. That was Leona. You would certainly have had to know her. She had a great sense of humor!

Leona was baptized at an early age under the late Rev. W. R. Ockletree at St. James Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas.

Leona was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Lee Sanders; her father, Leo Robinson and one brother, Wayne Allen (Bowleg) Wallace.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Lavorick Robinson; 4 brothers, Samuel Ray Wallace (Rebecca), Charles (T Monkey) Wallace (Sandra), Quincy Wallace (Callie), Darwin Robinson and 1 sister, Verna Taylor (Calvin); 3 grandchildren, Ashley Robinson, Jalen Robinson, Eric Williams and a special sister, Sandra McDowell.
