Lester Savoy

Lester John Savoy, 81, of Nederland, TX, passed away on January 15th in Odessa Texas.

Public Visitation will be 11:00am to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm Tuesday January 17th at Martinez Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, January 18th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Odessa with Fr. Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Lester was born in Acadia Parish Louisiana on September 18, 1935. He lived most of his life in Nederland, TX. He worked many jobs but mainly as a Dairy Operator, Pipefitter and Truck Driver. He was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus.

Lester was preceded in death by wives Barbara Savoy and Ruby Savoy. Lester is survived by son Larry Savoy and wife Vanessa of Arlington, TX; son Jerry Savoy Sr. and wife Arlene of Odessa, TX; Grandchildren Matthew Savoy, Elizabeth Savoy, Heather Maddox and Jerry Savoy Jr. He also had 4 great-grandchildren.
