Lilia P Sarabia, 101 years old, of Ft Stockton, Passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 in Odessa, TX. She was born January 30, 1915 in Mogollon, New Mexico to Pedro & Maria Pacheco.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Sarabia and great grandson, Mikey Rodriguez. Lilia is survived by her sons Juan (Tina) Sarabia, Israel (Grace) Sarabia; daughters, Maria Sarabia, Rosie Urias; sister Dolores Martinez; grandchildren, Henry (Sandra) Ramirez, Johnny (Deena) Sarabia Jr., Jimmy Sarabia, Alex (Hilda) Ramirez, Connie (Rey) Morales, Jason Urias, Jennifer (George) Lopez, Darrell (Cindy) Urias, Jerry (Jenny) Sarabia, Jessica Urias, Sharon (Roy) Hernandez, Jesse (Melissa) Sarabia, Ismael (Korey) Sarabia, Joseph Sarabia; 26 Great-grandchildren; 8 Great-great grandchildren.
Lilia was a loving wife, mother to all and a great friend to many. She enjoyed knitting, was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.
Her life was a milestone she lived through the roaring 1920's, WWI, WWII, The Great Depression, The Korean War, Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War, and the War in Iraq. She has lived through many presidents from our 28th Woodward Wilson in 1915 to now 44th Barack Obama in 2016
Our Family was blessed with many memories!! She will be missed!
Celebration of life Viewing will be held Monday, September 26 from 11am - 7pm. Rosary is to follow from 7pm - 8pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27th at 10:30 at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Urias, Darrell Urias, Romeo Rodriguez, Ryan Ramirez, AJ Ramirez, Isaiah Sarabia, Brian Ramirez, Samuel Lopez, Joshua Morales and Mark Morales
