Lorenza Fierro

Lorenza (Lorie) Fierro,76, of Odessa, passed away on December 11th, 2015 in Odessa, Tx.

The viewing will be on Sunday, Dec 13th, at Sunset Memorial Gardens from 6-8 pm. Funeral services and burial will be on Monday, Dec 14th, at 10:00am at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel and Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.

Lorie was born in Pecos, Tx to Eddie & Lucia Fuentes Sr. on November 12, 1939 and grew up and attended school in Balmorhea, Tx. She worked as a waitress for most of her life and worked at Ben's Spanish Inn, in Pecos, for many years. One of the things she really enjoyed in life was dancing and family gatherings.
Lorie was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie & Lucia Fuentes Sr.

Lorie is survived by her sons, Danny Fierro & wife Adriana of New Braunfels, TX, David Fierro of New Braunfels, Tx, Gabriel Fierro Jr & wife Maria, of Odessa, and James Fierro & wife Shelly of New Braunfels, Tx. She is also survived by a brother, Eddie Fuentes of Midland, Tx, a sister, Rose Baeza of Pecos, Tx, two half brothers, Joe Luis Fuentes and Ruben Fuentes and a half sister, Toni Castillo, all of Pecos, Tx. She was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank everyone who visited and helped during this difficult time, especially the staff at Odessa Medical Center Hospital and the beautiful people from Hospice Care.
