It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Lupe Moya,65, of Sterling City, on December 1, 2020, after a battle with COVID. She was born to the late Lydia Moya and Julio Guerrero on October 4, 1955 in San Angelo, TX. She was married to Gabriel Franco in 2010. She is preceeded in death by her mother, father, brother John Ornelas and sister Mary Lopez. Lupe is survived by her daughters Janelle Peña-Reyes and husband Hugo Reyes of Frisco, Tx, Linda Gayle Peña and husband, Albert of Ft Worth, Omega Montez and husband, Andy Montez of Odessa, Tx and Ana Moya of Sterling City, Tx, sister Sobeyda Diaz of San Diego,CA, and brother Robert Cardona of San Angelo, and loving best friend, Pablo Peña of Houston and 9 grandchildren; Alejandro D. Mediano and wife Bianca of Ft Worth, Tx, Adriana Garcia, Victoria L. Medina and husband Joel Medina of Killeen, Tx, David A. Garcia, Pablo P. Garcia, Sophia Reyes, Ariana I. Lucero, John C. Lucero and Hugo Reyes Jr; and 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved very much. When Lupe had her children, she dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Lupe excelled at making her children and grandchildren feel loved and supported them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She was a Godly woman full of faith and full of love. She was also a very giving person always helping those in need. She always put others before herself. She showed her family how to love others as God loves us. There is not enough gratitude to express how much she meant to us. She was truly an angel sent from Heaven and although she was called back home to be with our Lord and Savior her love and legacy will live on through her family and generations for years to come . We will always cherish the memories. She lives in all of us now. The family is forever grateful for the loving care given by doctors and nurses at Medical Center Hospital.
