Lupe Nunez

Lupe Doporto Nunez, age 75 passed away peacefully at her residence in Odessa, Texas on May 18th,2019. Lupe was born in Marfa, TX to Candelario and Rita Doporto, August 30, 1943. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her door was always open to everyone.
Viewing to the public will be from 5:00-9:00 PM, on Monday, May 20th, 2019 at Martinez Funeral Home. Rosary will be held on Tuesday, at 7:00 PM.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Garden section of the Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Lupe is preceded in death by her parents, Candelario and Rita Doporto, husband, Enrique Nunez, her two children, Norma and Lino Nunez and brothers, Martin and George Doporto.
Lupe will be forever remembered by her son, Jose Nunez (Emma), daughter Christina Nunez (Raul), Sister Azusena Nunez, sisters-in-laws Florinda Doporto and Adelaida Valencia. Grandchildren, Enrique Nunez ( Josie), Epimenio Nunez, Robert Joe Valencia, David B. Valencia III (Zulema), Gabriel Valencia (Jessica), Emmalina Castelan (Albert), and Joseph Nunez. Great Grandchildren, Devin Lara, Jaylee Nunez, Analee Nunez, Uzziah Nunez, Alexxa Valencia, David B. Valencia IV, Xavion Carrasco, Mason and Jaydah Fazenbaker. Along with numerous niece and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Enrique Nunez, Epimenio Nunez, Albert Castelan, Marcus Doporto, Mark Rubalcado, Larry Estorga, Justin Cortez, Dillon Digby, Matt Martinez, Anthony Campos, Tito Contreras, Johnny Ramos, Stratton Smith.
The family of Lupe wishes to extend their sincere thanks to our family and friends who have reached out to us during this difficult time. We sincerely appreciate it. We would also like to give thanks to Home Hospice, Medical Center Hospital, Maddison Medical Resort and Albertson's Market on 8th Street.
