Macario “Mac” Ramirez Sr. gained his wings on October 27, 2021

Mac was Born in Midland, Texas to Rosa G. Soto and Jesus Soto. Dad was a die hard Dallas Cowboys and Dodgers fan. Mac was no stranger; everyone was a friend. He made a strong impact on everyone he came in contact with whether it was for years or just a few minutes. He worked for Asbestos Removal Inc. for 20 years up until these last 2 years. He retired to spend more time with the love of his life of 35 years. He spent every chance he could with his pride and joys, his grandkids. He loved being an involved grandfather, as most of you know those kids were his life. He loved watching Alexis play some strings on the guitar he bought her or loved seeing her art, loved watching Mercedes and Sabrina dance and do TikTok’s. One place you would always catch Mac was at his little buckaroos Football games and practice. He was never alone he always had his grandbabies with him. Dad was the life of the party. At one point he was always barbecuing and drinking with his family and friends that became family. Please always remember him smiling and enjoying life.

He is preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents; Elodia & Severano Granados, Tio’s Fermini and Juan Granados, and his Dad; Jesus Soto.

He is survived by his loving wife; Gloria Ramirez, Sons; Mac Ramirez Jr (Adriana Ramirez) Rene Ramirez, Daughter; Brenda Ramirez, his four Granddaughters Alexis, Mercedes, Sabrina and Cheyenne. His Mother Rosa Soto, Brothers; Jessie Soto (Selene), Armando Meza and Wife, Javier Carbajal, Sisters; Maria Elena Marquez, Janie Soto, Blanca Soto (Hector Leyva) and Vicky Ruiz and Husband along with numerous nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and Friends and in laws.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Soto, Jesse James Soto, Omar Soto, Joel Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, and Rigo Lujan.
