A message from his daughter Amanda Barriga

“Dad, I am so very grateful for the time I got to spend with you on this earth. Thank you for showing me your records and teaching me how to ride a bike and explaining to me why big foot was real. You would always teach me things and remind me of my Barriga family and how many of us there are. I will miss your silly jokes, I will miss you calling me your Mijita. Sunny will miss her grandpa so much. I know she was dearest to your heart, and she lit up your world. I know you are resting in peace with grandma and grandpa and all your brothers and sisters who have gone to heaven. Please dad always remind us that you are here. I love you so much. Your daughter always”
