Marcelo G. Bernal has begun his journey to heaven where his beloved wife Dominga awaits alongside the Lord.
Visitation will be held 5pm - 9pm Friday, 9am - 9pm Saturday and 12pm - 9pm Sunday, January 23, 24 and 25, 2015 with a Rosary on Sunday at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Monday January 26, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery on Rose Hill Garden. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.
He peacefully left this earth in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Marcelo G. Bernal was born on December 15, 1914. He later met, fell in love and married his soul mate Dominga G Bernal in 1940. Together they had nine children. He is survived by his nine children, Marcelo Bernal Jr. Sylvia Garcia , America Cruz, Saul Bernal Jr., Griselda Bernal, Jose Bernal, Dolores Bernal, Hugo Bernal and Adrian Bernal. In addition to his children, he is also survived by thirty six grandchildren, seventy nine great grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren.
You are loved by so many. Thank you for being such a wonderful husband, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather and friend.
You will forever be in our hearts. May you rest in peace until we see each other again. We love you.
