Margarito Matta

Margarito M Matta, 89 of Odessa, passed away on September 5, 2016 in Pecos, Texas.

Rosary will be held at 7pm Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Home.

Mass will be held at 10am Thursday, September 8, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at 2pm in Toyah Cemetery in Toyah, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.

Margarito was born in Saragosa, Texas on June 3, 1927 to Isabel Matta and Isidra Mendoza.

Margarito is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elena Hinojos Matta, son Esteban Matta and siblings.

Margarito is survived by his children, Maria Helen Olivas, Ernest Matta, Connie Fuentes, Estella Pina, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Saulito Pina, Edward Fuentes, Joseph Vasquez, Israel Garcia, Oscar Jr. Muniz, Lupita Pina
