Maria De Socorro Andrade

Maria de Socorro Nabarrette Andrade 67, was born in Odessa, TX. to Victor and Catalina Jaurez Nabarrette August 13, 1957. She was married to Fernando Ruiz for 26 years. She worked as an attendant for Superwash for 15 years before retiring in April. Maria was known to be the life of the party. She loved to dance. She was a strong believer in God. She briefly attended Hope Alive Church. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved watching football. Her Favorite team was the Kansas City Chiefs. She never met a stranger. She loved helping people.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Brother Victor Nabarrette Jr, and his wife Anita (Yankee) Nabarrette.

Maria is survived by her husband Fernando Ruiz, Sons Raul Efrin Andrade and wife Susan, Thomas Arturo Andrade and Juan Antonio Andrade, daughters Judy Nabarrette Andrade, Veronica Nabarrette Andrade, and Andrea Nabarrette Andrade., Stepsons Michael Ruiz and wife Amanda, Jerry Ruiz, Mark Ruiz and Fernando Ruiz Jr and wife Amber. Brothers, Arturo Nabarrette and wife Minerva, Joe Luis Nabarrette and wife Veronica. Sisters Celia Nabarrette, Maria Del Carmen Ramos and husband Jaime, Velma Nabarrette and Alice Nabarrette Castillo and Husband Mike.

Mom also leaves to cherish her memory 25 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends that she loved very much.

Visitation is set for Thursday January 2, 2025, from 1pm -9pm with a scheduled rosary at 7pm with at Martinez Funeral Home chapel.

Funeral services are set for 11am Friday January 3, 2025, at Martinez Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Cliff DeArmond officiating.

Cremation will follow at a later date.
