Maria Rodriguez

María de Jes�s Rodríguez (Jesusita) 90, of Odessa passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Jesusita was born in Ca�ada Ancha, Chih., México on July 27, 1924 to Rumaldo Contreras and Paula Sotelo.

She married Cristóbal Rodríguez in which she beared 12 children. She later married Eleuterio Valles until his passing in 1983. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. She was very much loved and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 children and 1 grandchild.

Jesusita is survived by her sons Jes�s Natividad Rodríguez and Antonio Rodríguez of Odessa; Noé Rodríguez and Ismael Rodríguez of Ojinaga, Chih. Daughters Socorro Rodríguez and María de los �ngeles Rodríguez of Ojinaga, Chih and Laura Hernández of Cd. Juarez, Chih, Mexico; 26 granchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and 18 great-great granchildren.

Rosary will be at Martinez Funeral Home, Friday February 27, 2015 at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be Saturday February 28, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Frank Chávez officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jaime Acosta, Petro Ramírez, Luis Medina, Ariel Mu�oz, Sergio Rodríguez, Jesusin Rodríguez and Tito Rodríguez.
