Maria G. Rodriguez

Maria Gaytan Rodriguez, 59, a longtime resident of Odessa, Texas left this life to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 06, 2021.

Public visitation is scheduled for Monday June 14,2021 starting at 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.  A Chapel service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery, Rosehill Section. Everyone will meet afterwards at Slator Park, building located at 1001 West 38th Street, Odessa, Tx 79763.

Maria was born August 14, 1961, in Ojinaga, Mexico, to Ernesto Rodriguez and Maria Juana Gaytan. She married Flavio Gutierrez on May 17,1981 and they were married for 24 years.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Flavio Gutierrez; father, Ernesto Rodriguez; mother, Maria Juana Gaytan; sister, Juanita Silverio; and brother, Gerardo Rodriguez.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Jasmine Gutierrez from Odessa; Son, David Gutierrez and his wife, Sherika from Dallas; grandchildren, Aaliyah Samario, Maddox Samario , Zoe Samario, Amiah Gutierrez, and Mckinsley Gutierrez; two sisters; four brothers; several nephews and nieces.

Maria was a loving wife and mother. A great woman who everyone looked up to. In her lessons and memory will remain on the hearts of those that love her. She was our hero, our everything.  Your love was one in million.
