Maria Moreno Robles, age 78, of Odessa, TX, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
on Monday, November 19, 2018 in Odessa, TX.
The Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Martinez Funeral
Home.
Funeral services will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 23, 2018 at St. Joseph
Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Martinez
Funeral Home and Crematory of Odessa.
Mary was born in Tynan, TX to Tomas Moreno and Maria Torrez Moreno on May 19, 1940. She
married Abelardo B. Robles on August 23, 1960 in Grandfalls, TX. She devoted her life to caring
for and treasuring her loving husband of 58 years, along with raising and loving her children.
Mary had an overflowing love for her grandchildren. In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo
and spending time with friends and loved ones. Mary was blessed with the gift of cooking and
made everything she prepared taste like heaven! So many will remember her tamales and the
love she made them with!
Mary is preceded in death by her daughter Olga Robles; brothers Tomas, Jose, Jesus and
Adrian Moreno; sisters Dominga Sauceda and Agustina Tavarez; and parents Tomas and Maria
Moreno.
Mary is survived by her husband Abelardo Robles; sons and wives Michael and Teresa
Robles, Abelardo Junior and Adelita Robles, Rudy and Elizabeth Robles, Raymond and
Margarita Robles; daughter and husband Linda and Edmundo Rios; 16 grandchildren and 25
great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Robles, Julian Robles, Ignacio Robles,
Abel Robles, Adrian J. Robles, Joseph Robles, Kristian Robles, Martin Arroyos, Daniel Arroyos,
Eric Rios, Matthieu Robles, Adrian C. Robles and Adrian Moreno Junior.
The family of Mary Robles wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hospice of West Texas, ORMC
Hospital CCU staff, physicians and Veronica Oranday. A very special thanks to Martin Arroyos
Junior for advising the family and for the love and care given to his grandmother and family
