Maria R. Sanchez

Maria, 71 of Odessa, Tx, went to be with the Lord on October 20th. Maria was born in Alpine, Tx to Benito O. Rojo and Eufemia Llanez Rojo on September 26, 1950. She married Eduardo L. Sanchez in 1977. Maria was a loving and caring wife, daughter, sister, and mother. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her sisters and brother. Maria enjoyed going to the movies, singing and music.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents Benito and Eufemia Rojo. Her sister Connie De La Cruz, and brothers Jose Luis Rojo, Benito Jesus Rojo and Raul Rojo.

Maria is survived by her husband Eduardo Sanchez, her daughters Maribel Flores and husband Jose Flores, Ana Mireya Sanchez, and stepdaughters Veronica Sanchez and Maggie Sanchez. She had eight step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. Her brother Ruben Rojo and wife Maria Rojo, her sisters Gloria Quintela and husband Santos Quintela, Anna Rojo, Rosie Morales and husband Juan Morales, Norma Bueno, and husband Raul Bueno.

Pallbearers will be Julian Rojo, Donnie Quintela, Rene Morales, Jeff Garza, Adrian De La Cruz, Daniel Perez, Cesar Sanchez, and Saul Suchil.

Visitation will be at 1:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday October 27th at Martinez Funeral Home Outside Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Wednesday October 27th at Martinez Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm Thursday October 28th at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Fernando Bonilla officiating. Interment will be held private at a Later Date. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
