Maria Yolanda Salas, 69, of Pecos, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 in Midland, Texas.

Visitation for Maria Salas will be 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Martinez Funeral Home – Outside Chapel with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM.  Mass will be 10:00 AM on Friday, June 18, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Maria was born in Pecos, Texas on February 19, 1952 to Augustine Gochicoa and Trinidad Salas. She attended school in Pecos.

Maria is preceded in death by her mother, Trinidad Salas; daughter, Loretta Salas; stepson, Jesus Jose Salazar; brother, Domingo Salas; sister, Dominga Salas; numerous aunts and uncles.

Maria is survived by her common law husband, Amado Salazar; son, Joe Salas of Pecos, Texas; granddaughter, Kimberly Rubio of Pecos, Texas; sister, Sabina Jasso of Pecos, Texas; nieces, Irma Jimenez and Ida Rodriguez of Pecos, Texas, Elfida Ornelas, Elizabeth Vasquez of Odessa, Texas; nephews, Jimmy Jimenez; stepson, Cervando Salazar, Juan Ramon Salas, Sandra Salazar; grandchildren, Shaela, Joe Arthur, Joe Amni, Marc Anthony, Justice Lee, Loretta Nevaeh, Edward Ray.

Pallbearers are as follows: Adrian Lopez, Cervando Salazar, Luis Salas, Benjamin Gonzales, Abelardo Rios, Ricardo Rios, Mario Salazar, Alfredo Salazar.
