Mario G. Jimenez, 58 of Odessa, Texas passed away on January 21, 2024 at MCH surrounded by his loved ones.
Visitation will be held Thursday January 25, 2024 from 1:00PM – 9:00PM with a Rosary at 7:00PM at Martinez Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 2:00PM Friday January 26, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Carlos Rodriguez.
Mario was born in Lubbock, Texas to Adan and Angelita Jimenez on November 6, 1965 he went to school at Seminole High School. He married the love of his life Ida Jimenez on November 6, 1984. He worked as a Crane Operator all across the United States for 35 years. He enjoyed hosting family gatherings and being on the grill as well as cheering on his Favorite team the Dallas Cowboys. In his spare time he loved to travel to his grandchildren’s sporting events. He lived for his grandchildren and was the best papa they could ask for.
Mario is preceded in death by Parents Adan and Angelita Jimenez, Grandparents Jose and Otillia Gonsalez, and Brother Juan Jimenez.
Mario is survived by his Wife Ida Jimenez, Son Steven Jimenez, Daughter Anna (Jose) Lozano. His sisters Otillia Jimenez, Angie (Jose) Ontiveros. His Brothers Paul (Daliah) Jimenez, David (Jenny) Jimenez, Grandchildren Adynn, Alayah, Matthew, Michael, Ezrey, Lay’la, Luka, Enzo and many Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joey Ontiveros, Steven Ontiveros, Alex Ontiveros, Daniel Campuzano, Espirdion Quiroz, Anthony Serrano, Junior Ortiz, Joel Castillo, and Cody Ramirez.
