Martha Lujan Sauceda, 73, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on September 3, 2022.
Visitation will be at 1pm -9pm with a Rosary being Recited at 7pm on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory , 1040 S. Dixie Blvd., Odessa, Texas,
Mass will be Celebrated at 10am on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 907 S. Dixie Blvd, Odessa, Texas with Father Frank Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery The Rose Hill Section.
Martha Lujan Sauceda was born in Big Spring, Texas to Ramon A. and Hortencia B Lujan on August 17, 1949. She went to school and graduated at Ector High School in Odessa, Texas. She married Andres M. Sauceda Jr. on July 2, 1970 in Odessa, Texas. She retired as an AT&T Telephone Operator and then housewife. She was a member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church. She loved praying the rosary daily, listening to music, crocheting, diamond dots, and playing Bunko. She dearly loved her Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and all her Family and Friends.
Martha L. Sauceda is preceded in death by her husband, Andres M. Sauceda Jr. and her parents, Ramon A. and Hortencia B. Lujan.
Martha Lujan Sauceda is survived by her 3 Sons-Andres L. Sauceda III, Rene L. Sauceda, Christopher L Sauceda & Wife Kathy T., Daughter-Kimberly S. Johnson & Husband Kenneth D.; Sister, Lupe Lujan, Brother, Ramon Lujan & wife Rosie; Grandchildren- Andres A. Sauceda IV, Liliana K. Sauceda, Joe Chavez, Zachary Sauceda & Wife Megan, Kristabel Sauceda, Kacee Torres, Allen Molinar, Kaleb A Rios, Kamron A. Rios, Klohi A Rios, Drelane Johnson & Wife Liana D., Zoe Garrett, Darius Johnson; Great-Grandchildren- Sophia Sauceda, Bentley Sauceda, Noah Sauceda, Trent Torres, Alizae Torres, Mayze Whitney, Kaislyn Whitney, Ariyah Lewis, Joaquin D. Johnson, and Zaryan Garrett, and several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Sauceda, Andres A. Sauceda IV, Kaleb Rios, Drelane Johnson, Oscar G. Dominguez Jr, and Eric Montelongo.; Honoree Pallbearers are Kamron Rios, Bentley Sauceda, and Noah Sauceda.
The Family of Martha Lujan Sauceda wish to extend their sincere thanks to Texas Oncology – Odessa West Texas Cancer Center and Staff, Dr. Khandelwal, MD, Houston MD Anderson Cancer Center & Staff, and Heart to Heart Hospice and Staff. A special thank you to Kristin B. Quezada for her help and kindness provided for our precious Mother’s care and comfort in her last days before her journey into the kingdom of Heaven.
