Martin Mares Vargas ,74 years old, of Odessa,Texas passed away on February 4,2021. The funeral service will be held at Martinez Funeral Home. Father Chavez at St. Anthony’s Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 10am-12pm on March 18,2021 at the Martinez Funeral Home. The rosary will also be held at the Martinez Funeral Home at 7pm-9pm on March 18,2021. Burial will follow the funeral to Rose Hill Cemetery on March 19,2021 at 10am. Martin Vargas was born in Edinburgh,Texas on 12-27-1946. He was married to our beloved mother Maria Elena Vargas, which now they reunite together in heaven. He moved to Odessa Texas where worked at Jones Brothers for 36 years and then deciding to retire from the company. He was also loved by his 13 grandchildren and his 3 great grandchildren. Martin Vargas is survived by his children Joe Vargas, Michael VArgas, Melinda Vargas,and Yvette Vargas. Martin Vargas is proceeded in death by both of his parents, wife Maria Elena Vargas, and granddaughter Rachel Tiner. Pallbearers are Joeangel Vargas, Joel Vargas, Daniel Vargas, Thomas Vargas, Jeric ,and Joe In lieu of flowers they may be given to Martinez Funeral Home. The family of Martin Vargas wishes to thank everyone that donated to our fathers funeral we will forever be great full.
