Mary Helen Garcia (Pantoja) 58 yrs. old of Odessa, TX passed away December 27th, 2016 in Galveston, TX.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 3, 2017 and Wednesday January 4, 2017 from 9am-9pm at
Martinez Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held Wednesday January 4, 2017 at 7; 30pm at
Martinez Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday January 5, 2017 at
Iglesia Bautista Jerusalem 1440 S. Sam Houston with Rev. Benito Ramirez of Iglesia Bautista Jerusalem, officiating.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery (Peaceful Gardens section) Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home. Under the direction of Funeral Directors Joel Gonzales & Nancy Olvera.
Mary Helen Garcia was born in Odessa, TX to Juan and Catalina Garcia on April 28, 1958. She graduated from
Ector High School in 1976 in Odessa, TX. She married Jose Luis Pantoja in 1994 in Odessa, TX. She was a homemaker for 30 yrs.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Catalina Garcia, Husband Jose Luis Pantoja,
Daughter Stacy Garcia, Step Son Jose Luis Pantoja Jr., Brothers Juan Manuel Garcia, Adolfo Garcia (Chicho) and Castulo Garcia (Dimas).
Mary is survived by her Daughters Laura Garcia, Myra Garcia, and Roxann Pantoja of Odessa.
Her Step Children Rosemary Pantoja and Ruben Pantoja of Midland. Brothers Xavier Garcia and
Raymond Garcia and wife Jessica. Sisters Nieves Ramirez and husband Benito, and Cathy Garcia
all of Odessa. She had 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Baca, Roman Garcia, Bobby Ramirez, Matthew Ramirez, DeAnthony Ramirez, Armando Pantoja, and Chad Warren.
The Family of Mary Garcia wishes to extend our sincere thanks to family and friends for their prayers, thoughts and condolences, and for all the food and donations. We would also like to thank Martinez Funeral Home and the church Iglesia Bautista Jerusalem for their services.
