Matilde Garza

Matilde C. Garza, 99 of Odessa, passed away on July 10, 2015 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be held 12pm - 9pm Sunday, July 12, 2015 with Rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be celebrated at 10am Monday, July 13, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Peaceful Gardens section. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.
Matilde was born in Cameron, Texas on March 14, 1916 to Celestino Garza and Eulalia Contreras.
Matilde is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Socorro Nunez Garza, sons - Raul Garza, Matilde Garza Jr., three sisters, four brothers and great-grandbaby, Davian.
Matilde is survived by his son - Arturo Garza, daughters - Marylou (Butch) Tacker, Amparo (Adam) Sanchez, Eulalia (Jesse Sr.) Arredondo, Oralia Gonzales, 24 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
