Maurilio Lujan

Maurilio Lujan, 85,of Ojinaga, Chihuahua MX. passed away Friday May 3, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua MX. to parents Cayetano Lujan and Maria Santos Lujan on March 1st 1939. He attended school in Ojinaga.  He married Esther Aranda on October 12 1960 in Ojinaga Chihuahua.  He worked as pipe fitter for a few companies in Odessa including Salisbury for several years.

Maurilio is preceded in death by his parents Cayetano and Santos Lujan, his children Maurilio Lujan Jr and Juan Daniel Lujan, brothers Gildardo, Gilberto, Israel, and Ruben Lujan, and sister Blanca Palma.

Maurilio is survived by his wife Esther Lujan, son Ricardo and spouse Tonie  Lujan, son Guadalupe Lujan and partner Mike Lackey, son Jose Lino Lujan, son Ismael and spouse Cora Lea Lujan. Sisters Rosa Isela, Minerva, Elsa and Alma. 

Maurilio also leaves to cherish his memory, twelve grandchildren: Mavy, Lupita, Maren, Amanda, Julie, Emanuel, Adrian, Bryanna, Austin, Jose, Sebastian, Rhayn, and great-grandchildren: Maria Teresa, Olivia, Luca, Ava, Aliyah, and Anaya.

Visitation will be at Martinez Funeral Home on Monday May 6, 2024 from 1:00PM to 9:00PM with a rosary at 7:00PM.

Mass has been set for 10:00AM Tuesday May 7, 2024 at St Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Carlos Rodriguez officiating. 

Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery Odessa II Section.

Pallbearers will be Ricardo Lujan, Ismael Lujan, Lupe Lujan, Hector Aranda, Alfredo Chavez, and Gerardo Aranda.
