Visitation will be June 19, 2015 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am on June 20, 2015 at
Living Vision Services at 525 South Grandview Aveunue, Odessa, Texas with Pastor James Porter officiating.
Mavis Marie Jefferson was born in Mexia, Texas to Hester Johnson and L.B. Brooks on March 17, 1941.
She went to high school in Mexia, Texas and Odessa, Texas. Mavis Marie Jefferson received her
Certified Nursing Assistant certification from Odessa College. She married Quinon Jefferson.
Mavis Marie Jefferson is preceded in death by her beloved son Louis Vincent Sephus and her husband Quinon Jefferson.
Mavis Marie Jefferson is survived by her daughter Carolyn Annette Jefferson, her mother Hester Johnson,
her brothers Jimmy Brooks, Samuel Brooks, Donald Everett, and Paul Glen Everett, her sisters
Jeralyn Brooks and Elizabeth Everett, her sisters-in-law Pauline Brooks, Hollis Brooks and Brenda Everett, and one aunt,
Lucille Flax and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives.
