Nellie Hernandez

Nellie Pena Hernandez, 54, passed away on Saturday 25, 2014 in Odessa, Texas.

She was born October 22, 1959 in Marfa, Texas to Salvador Pena and Jane Tarrin.

Visitation for Nellie will begin, Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 2pm9pm and all day Thursday. A rosary will held at 7pm, Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at 1pm on Friday, January 31, 2014 also at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ector County Cemetery.

Nellie is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Salvador Pena and wife Angela Pena, grandkids, Tiana, Sierra, Hannah, Isabel and Jeffrey Jr., her son , Ernest Hernandez Jr., and his wife Crystal Hernandez, grandkids, Jaben Matthew and Victoria Rose Hernandez. She is also survived by a brother Ray Pena, and family from Ft. Stockton, sister Cora Ann Pena Miranda and family from Odessa, her mother, Jane Pena from Van Horn, many nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her father Salvador Pena, husband Ernest M. Hernandez and her sister Mary Alice Sanchez.

Pallbearers will be Ernest Hernandez Jr., Jeffrey Pena, Jamie Lujan, Trey Martinez, Jerald Lujan and Matthew Martinez. Honorary pallbearers are Jaben Matthew Hernandez and Jeffrey Pena Jr.
