Nettie Lee Boulding 88, passed away at home on June 1, 2024 in Abilene, Texas.

Nettie was born in Wheelock, Texas to Julia Jackson & Robert Conely on March 10, 1936. She married her first husband Billy Pruitt. Nettie then later remarried to her late husband Louis Boulding. She worked as a homemaker as a wife and mother. She also worked as a bank teller, cashier and a housekeeper till she retired due to her health.

Nettie was involved in the Church Pilgrams Rest, loved fishing, sewing, cooking and enjoyed family  time with all her 10 children and grandchildren.

Nettie is preceded in death by Parents Julia Jackson Washington and Luke Washington, Husband, Papa Louis Boulding, and Husband, Billy Pruitt.

Nettie is survived by Elizabeth Samuel of Abilene, Texas, Linda & Willie Suel of Abilene, Texas, Karla & Mark Spriggs of Ft Worth, Texas, Billy & Kathy of Dallas, Texas, Willie Pruitt of Abilene, Texas, Teresa Green of Odessa, Texas, Patricia of Odessa, Texas, Sonny Griffin and Albert Griffin of Lubbock, Texas, Clifford Pruitt of Abilene, Texas and 19 Grandchildren, 42 Great Grandchildren 23 Great Great Grandchildren, and 2 Second Generation of Great Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be held Thursday June 6, 2024 from 1PM – 9PM at Martinez Funeral Home Inside Chapel. Celebration of Life will be held 10AM Friday June 7, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home Inside Chapel with Pastor Michael Shelton officiating. Burial will follow after service at Ector County Cemetery ~ Rosehill Section

Pallbearers will be Genor DeWayne Pruitt, Wesley Pruitt, Tommy Hodge, Shannon Pruitt, Christopher Pruitt, Billy Pruitt, and Willie Suel.
