He went to school in Reford, Texas. He was married to Irma L Catano on April 30, 1968 in Odessa,Tx. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic for BJ Services for 20+ years. Nicolas O Catano is proceeded in death by Jose and Zenona Catano-Parents, Pifanio Catano - brother, Guadalupe Catano brother. Nicolas O Catano is survived by
Irma L Catano, Rene (Mayra) Catano, Criselda (Claudio) Hinojos, Leticia (Auden) Madrid, Nick Jr. Catano, Chela (Rogelio) Molinar.
Sibilings Sisters: Sabina Olivas- Andrews, Tx, Eduvijes Martinez- Redford, Tx. Brothers: Daniel Catano, Odessa, Tx. Jesus Catano, Marfa, Tx.
Eight living grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
