Noah Kai Russell was born in Houston, Texas to Ricardo and Amy Russell on September 10, 2020. Baby Noah Kai was the love of his mommy and daddy’s lives. He was a very happy and extremely loved baby by his parents, family members, the NICU and PICU staff at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, and anyone who saw his pictures and videos on Facebook. Although he met very few family members, they all loved him dearly even those who had never met him in person. Noah loved his “babies” (his mobile and multiple cuddly animals to sleep with), his sloth pacifier, holding hands, and being held by his daddy and mommy. He had the most beautiful and infectious smile that would make anyone happy when they saw his picture or were around him. He left a huge impression on many people’s hearts. Noah Kai fought hard and loved even harder. He loved to pray with mommy and daddy every night before going to bed. We always told him to make good choices and we know he is making those in heaven now. Baby Noah Kai did and still means the world to his parents, and he showed us how to be stronger in our faith, our marriage, and how to love and be positive even when times got tough. Noah smiled through many rough times but he always woke up happy and began a new day and proved doctors wrong in so many ways until God called him home.
Noah is preceded in death by his grandpa Ricardo Russell Sr., his Papa Sabas Nabarrete Jr., step grandfather Ramon Quezada Sr., great grandmother Alicia Rodriguez, great grandpa Thomas C. Mata, great grandparents Victoriano & Socorro Molina, and great Uncles Joe and Sammy Mata, Johnny Vasquez Sr., and cousin Johnny Vasquez Jr.

Great grandmother Lupe Mata, paternal grandmother Martha Russell, uncles Eric (Cassandra) Morales, John (Barbara) Russell, Michael Russell, and Bobby Russell, cousin Eliana Joy Russell, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones.
