Born on February 9, 1957, to Odell Ervin Sr and Josephine Fullbright-Ervin in Midland, Tx , Odell lived a life of integrity and compassion. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and wisdom, leaving behind a profound impact on his family and friends.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He always placed the needs of others before his own. His unconditional love and unwavering support brought comfort to those around him. He lived a life of simplicity, finding joy in the little things and cherishing the moments he spent with loved ones. Whether he was fixing our cars or offering sage advice, he had a way of making everyone feel valued and heard. Odell leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be carried in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Proceeded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents Joe Eddie Fullbright and Nancy Fullbright, fraternal grandparents Turner Ervin and Willie Ervin, his daughter Janelle Phergson
He is survived by his wife Onita Ervin, siblings Clara Washington, Roy Charles Ervin, Jackqulyn Genes, Mary Jo Brown, Morris Ray, Melvin Ray and Latrice Smith, children Bryan Ervin (Rosie Ervin), Peggy Mackey, Trey Odell Ervin III (Brandi Evans), Quincy Ervin, Cindy Washington (Ernest Washington), and Myra Brown, 26 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, his Aunt Eddie Mae Joiner
Though Odell may no longer be with us in the physical sense, the impact he made on our lives will forever remain. May he rest in eternal peace.
