Ortencia Hernandez

Ortencia Hernandez, age 74, of Odessa TX, went home with our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on December 20, 2020 in Odessa TX.

Visitation and prayer services at 7:00 pm on, Tuesday, January 5, 2021.  Services will be held at the church of “Lighthouse of Hope”, 5533 W. Mapp St, Odessa, TX.  Pastor Daniel Lopez of “Lighthouse of Hope”, will be officiating services at 10:00 am on January 6, 2021.  Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery.

Ortencia Hernandez, was born in Mexico, to Julio Ramirez and Carolina Ramirez on June 7, 1946. She married the love of her life, Alberto J. Hernandez on June 5, 1961. She was a loving wife and mother. She was a devoted Christian, worshiping, Jesus Christ, living to the fullest, with faith, love, and laughter.

Ortencia Hernandez is preceded in death by her father, Julio Ramirez, and mother, Carolina Ramirez.

Ortencia Hernandez is survived by her husband, Alberto J. Hernandez; Her children, Alberto Jr. Hernandez, Roldolfo Hernandez, Eva Marquez, and Anani Hernandez;  Her brothers and sisters, Petra Ramirez, Eduardo Ramirez, Irma Franco, Elodia Ramirez, Elizardo Ramirez, Elfida Grado, Efrain Ramirez, Heriberto Ramirez, Elda Luna, Heraclio Ramirez, Elsa Ramirez; Her Grandchildren, Susie Venzor, Crystal Rodriguez, Abigail Venegas, Cynthia Chavez, Venessa R. Hernandez, Rodolfo Hernandez, Cecilia A. Hernandez, Noemi M. Hernandez, Lilia A. Hernandez, Andres R. Hernandez, & Leonel Melendez;  Her great-Grand Children, Anani A. Venzor, Jose Jr. Venzor, Omero O. Venzor, Toby T. Venzor, Avery G. Venzor, Isaiah Chavez, Alexis Chavez, Arabella J. Venegas, Adeline R. Venegas; countless friends and families, whose lives she touched.
