Pablo Salas Jr. was born in El Paso, Texas to Pablo Salas Sr. and Carmen Medina Salas on March 10th, 1959. Pablo married Pamela Salas on March 26th, 2010. He worked as a Roughneck, Truck Driver, Reverse Unit Operator, and for the last 20 years as a Fisherman in the oilfields of West Texas. Pablo was a Veteran and served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1976 to 1980 in the 3rd Armored Calvary out of Fort Bliss. He was awarded Marksman and Grenade Expert for the "Brave Rifles". Pablo was proud of all who served in the U.S. Military and was a contributor to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation.

Pablo is preceded in death by his eldest son Pablo Salas III, Mother Carmen Medina Salas, Father Pablo Salas Sr., Sister Leticia Salas Reyes, and first spouse Yolanda Barela Salas.

Pablo is survived by his wife Pamela Salas. His Children Chrystal Marie Harding, Anthony Paul Salas, Christopher James Salas, Julie Ann Salas, and Rheta Mae Salas. Brothers David Salas, and Josue Salas. Sisters Maria Herrera, Fermina Moreno, Antonia Amescua, and Teresa Oporto.

Pallbearers will be Santiago Barela, Chrystal Harding, Anthony Paul Salas, Christopher Salas, Julie Salas, Rheta Salas, and Joey Herrera.

Pablo was an honorable man, Husband, Father, and friend. Pablo had a tough exterior but a big heart. Pablo loved hunting, classic cars, and guns as well as his children. He was a man of many talents and skills who would go out of his way to help many people in need. Pablo was a leader and a cornerstone in many people's lives. He taught his children to be strong, independent, and to never give up. His company and laughter will be missed and never forgotten.
