Parnell Skinner

Parnell Skinner, 67 of Odessa, went to be with the Lord Jesus on October 13, 2015 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be held 9am - 5pm, Saturday October 17, and 12pm - 9pm Sunday October 18, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 1pm, Monday, October 19, 2015 at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Los Angeles Garden. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.

Parnell Skinner was born in Gilmer, Texas to Hugh D Skinner and Pearlie Mae Skinner on August 2, 1948. He attended Kermit High School. He married Linda Hannah on October 29, 1976 in Odessa, Texas. He worked in the Oil Industry for many years. He was a Veteran of the Army Military Service.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father and sister, Yvonne Whitfield.
He is survived by his wife - Linda Skinner, sons - Markee Murphy and Kevin Skinner and daughter Ashlee Skinner, three sisters- Myrtlean Pace,Ida Gamble and Evelyn Love. Four grandchildren - Nina Skinner, Niya Skinner, Kevin Jr, Jace Skinner, a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He lives to cherish Aunt Erma and Uncle Harry.
