Paula Valeriano

Paula Barbara Navarrete Valeriano, age 73, passed from this life on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Odessa Regional Medical Center, in Odessa, TX.
She was born in Presidio, TX on December 4, 1944 to Gregorio and Angela (Madrid) Navarrete. Paula was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Odessa, TX.

Paula spent over 30 years as a hair dresser and stylist. Half of those years were spent at her own Beauty Salon in Kermit, TX. In her retirement years, she enjoyed playing bingo.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother Ismael Navarrete and wife Alfie of Odessa, TX and her children: Ori Lujan Rubio and husband Jesse of Odessa, TX;
three sons: Lino Lujan and wife Vanessa of Carlsbad, NM; Jose Luis Lujan and wife Tammy of Belton, TX; Samuel Lujan and wife Stella of Frisco, TX and Benita Arinevas
and husband Tommy of Odessa, TX; nineteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Gregorio and Angela Navarrete, two sisters: Gregoria Bell and Dominga Vaca.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, January 5, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Odessa, TX. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Joshua Lujan, Isaiah Lujan, Sammy Lujan II, Alex Lujan, Eric Rubio, Mikky Navarrete, Isaac Navarrete and Nathaniel Lopez.

Arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Smith Funeral Home.
