Pedro B. Flores

Pedro Flores, 83, of Odessa, TX, passed away on October 6, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Pedro was born on March 19, 1940, in El Vado de Piedra, Chihuahua to Ana and Jesus Flores Sr. Pedro is preceded in death by his spouse, Leonila Flores, his parents Ana and Jesus Flores Sr., his brothers Jesus Flores Jr. and Benito Flores, and his sister Otila Porras.

He is survived by his sons Pedro Jr., Heliaser (Anita), Israel, and RigoRoberto Flores. Pedro leaves behind a legacy through his 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Pedro is also survived by his brothers, Manuel Flores and Arturo Flores, and sisters Manuela Alvarado and Dora Orona.

Pedro will be forever cherished in our hearts as a reserved man of unwavering faith, often uttering the words, "Primeromente Dios", which translates to “God First”. He found immense delight in visiting family and friends, indulging in laughter, dancing, and sharing stories from his childhood. His presence left a lasting impact on those he met, and his loss will be deeply mourned by all who knew him.

The Flores family expresses our deepest gratitude to all those who were a part of Pedro's life, including our cherished family and friends, for their unwavering help and support. We extend a special thank you to the dedicated staff at Madison Medical Resort, whose genuine compassion and treatment made him feel like one of their own. Funeral services for Pedro Flores will be held at Martinez Funeral Home. The public visitation will take place inside the Martinez Funeral Home chapel on Sunday, October 15th, 2023, from 1pm to 9pm, with a prayer service scheduled from 7pm to 9pm. A Chapel Memorial Service, dedicated to celebrating Pedro's life, will be conducted at Martinez Funeral Home on Monday, October 16th, 2023, at 10am.
