Pedro Andres Mata Hernandez IV

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pedro “Peter” “Andy” Andres Mata Hernandez IV, 511, Of Odessa, Texas. He passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023.

He was born on June 23, 1972, to Pedro and Eva Hernandez. He graduated from Odessa High School and was a US Army Veteran that proudly served our country. Pedro had such an infectious smile, unique sense of humor, an amazing laugh, great singing voice and some of the best dance moves. He had such a kind heart and was always willing to help those in need. Pedro will be missed by many and for sure not forgotten. He will be in our Hearts Forever!

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his parents, his life long partner Louis V. Fling of Odessa, Texas; his sisters Blanca Hernandez (David Carrillo) of Killeen, Texas; Brother Ruben Hernandez (Jennifer) of Harker Heights, Texas; Nieces and Nephews Krystal (Luis), Corey, Renae, Gage (Baily), Bryseda, Paige (Michael), Jakobi and Kaileb; Great Nieces and Nephews Ivan, L-Jai, Liam and Sydney.

Pallbearers: Steven Reyes, Ruben Hernandez, Corey Colmenero, Jakobi Hernandez, Kaileb Hernandez and L-Jai Garcia.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 19, 2023 and Sunday August 20, 2023 beginning at 12;00PM at 319 Bruck Odessa, Texas (Parents Home). A rosary will be held both evenings at 7:00PM; Mass will be held at 10:00AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Odessa, Texas at 1321 W Monahans St. on Monday August 21, 2023.
