Pedro Ortiz

Pedro Juarez Ortiz, 62 of Odessa, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Visitation will be from 10am to 9pm, with a rosary at 7pm Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Martinez Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, May 6, 2022, at Martinez Funeral Home with Pastor Cliff DeArmond officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Pedro was born in Pecos, Tx to Nicholas and Santos Ortiz on October 7, 1959. In 1979, he married late wife Melinda Garcia and shared 3 children. Pedro spent his time as a handyman. In 2002, he met Josephine Millan.

Pedro is preceded in death by his parents Nicholas Trejo and Santos Juarez Ortiz, brother Arnulfo Juarez and sister Lydia Payen.

Pedro is survived by his 3 children Pedro Ortiz Jr. And wife Rebecca, Joe Michael Ortiz, Sonya Lopez and husband Anthony, 9 grandchildren Aivan, Ameris, Mirai Ortiz, Jayden, Brandon, and Gabriella Lopez, Michael and Aubrey Ortiz, and Isaiah Martinez. His brothers Pablo Ortiz, Nicky Ortiz and Maria Jesus Ibarra, Rosa Renteria, and Ysidro Juarez.
