Porfirio "Pilo" Hermosillo, 61, of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, passed away on August 30, 2017 in Denton, TX.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 12pm-9pm Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 1pm-9pm and Monday, September 4, 2017 from 9am-9pm at Martinez funeral home. Rosary's will be held Saturday September 2, 2017 at 7pm, Sunday September 3, 2017 at 2pm and Monday September 4, 2017 at 7PM at Martinez funeral Home.
Mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Ector county cemetery Rose Hill section. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
Pilo Hermosillo was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua to Elvira Acosta and Fernando Hermosillo on April 20, 1956. He went to school in Ojinaga and Chihuahua, and graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua. He married Norma L Gomez Leyva on February 14th, 1981 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua. He was a business owner and an entrepreneur who loved music and his dog Chelsea. He loved to sing and play the piano, and was always ready with a witty joke.
Pilo Hermosillo is preceded in death by his parents and his son Hector Hermosillo.
Pilo Hermosillo is survived by his wife Norma L. Hermosillo, his daughters Laura and Marisol Hermosillo, his sisters Olivia Valenzuela and Coyo Hermosillo, and his brothers Hector, Fernando, Jose Luis, and Manuel Hermosillo.
