Rafael Nieto

Rafael Lujan Nieto, 70, of San Juan de Urrutia, Mexico passed away on October 8th, 2020 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday October 12th 2020, 12pm- 9pm with Rosary at 7pm. Martinez Funeral Home

Funeral services will be held October 13th 2020, St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at 2 pm with father Frank Chavez officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Rafael Lujan Nieto was born in San Juan De Urrutia, Municipio de Aldama Mexico to Juana Lujan and Telesforo Nieto on October 24th 1949.

He was married to Ignacia Nieto Natera on December 17th 1977 in Coyame Chihuahua Mexico.

He worked as a welder for Permian Tank for 40 Years.

He was also involved as an Parishoner and usher at St. Anthony’s Catholic church for many years.

His main hobbies were Horse racing, welding, and  vacationing at his ranch house in San Juan De Urrutia, and spending time with his loving family.

Rafael Lujan Nieto is preceded in death by his parents Telesforo and Juana Nieto, his siblings Hipolito Nieto and Silvina Rodriguez.

Rafael Lujan Nieto is Survived by his loving wife Maria Ignacia Nieto, daughter Elizabeth Perez  husband(Joel) Sons Rafael Nieto Jr. wife (Marcela), son Jorge Nieto, son Fernando Nieto wife (Michelle) Sisters Guadalupe Ballesteros, and Edubijes Ybarra and 11 Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Fernando Nieto Jr. , Isaiahs Rafael Nieto, Marcos Moreno, Robert Moreno, Joel Perez, Valentin Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Daniel Ballesteros.
