Ramon Martinez De la Cruz 74, passed away on March 9th in Odessa, Texas
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 12, 2024 from 4PM- 9PM with a Rosary at 7PM. Funeral Services will be held 10AM Wednesday March 13, 2024 at St Joseph's catholic church with Father Chavez officiating, Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
Ramon was born in Acuna, Mexico to Benito and Felicitas De La Cruz on April 17th, 1949. He married his first wife Yolanda Lopez in 1969 and had two sons Ramon De La Cruz and Danny De La Cruz, daughter Lisa De La Cruz. Ramon was a dedicated employee, where he worked primarily for Medford as a welder’s helper and other various labor jobs around the community of Odessa & Kermit Texas he was always recognized for his hard work and determination to get things done! Ramon loved to go dancing, go to the Chinese buffets, and spend time with his family and friends especially his son and grandson in the backyard!
His love language was doing things for people like helping with repairs or honey do’s around the house, mowing the yard to make it look nice for his daughter-in-law, etc, he would do anything for anyone and give his shirt off his back if needed without question
Ramon is preceded in death by his parents Benito and Felicitas De La Cruz, Yolanda De La Cruz, Emma De La Cruz, and brother Ricardo De La Cruz
He is survived by sons Ramon De La Cruz of Odessa, and Danny De La Cruz wife Amanda De La Cruz of Odessa daughter Lisa De La Cruz of Odessa, and Brother Inocensio De La Cruz of Odessa, he also leaves behind 8 grandchildren whom he loved very much along with 3 precious great-grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Demetre De La Cruz, AJ De La Cruz, Ramon De La Cruz III, Adrian De La Cruz, David De La O, Noe De La Cruz and Honorary Pallbearer Avyn De La Cruz
