Ramon Montanez, 69, of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, MX, passed away on August 9, 2024 in Odessa, Tx.

Visitation will be at 1pm-9pm on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Iglesia De Poder Y Restauración with Pastors Jesus and Martha Fierro, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home. 

Ramón Montanez was born in Ojinaga Chihuahua, Mexico to Isidro y Natividad Montanez on January 22, 1955. He married Juanita Montanez on December 24, 1978 in Ojinaga Chihuahua, Mexico. He proudly worked for W&W Energy Services for 23 years. He was very involved with his home church of Iglesia De Poder Y Restauración. His favorite sport was baseball and was a diehard Texas Rangers fan. Spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters was his absolute favorite. 

Ramon Montanez is preceded in death by his parents, Isidro y Natividad Montanez, sisters, Bertha Montanez Rodriguez and Rosa Maria Montanez Valdez.

Ramon Montanez is survived by his wife, Juanita Montanez Rangel, sons, Victor Hugo Montanez and wife Rosa Montanez Garcia, Angel Gonzalez Rodriguez and wife Vero Rodriguez, and daughter, Nathay Montanez and fiancé Alberto Ramirez, brothers, Raul Montanez, Javier Montanez, Ernesto Montanez, Oscar Montanez, grandchildren, Abigail Montanez, Makayla Montanez and Bella Montanez, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

 Pallbearers will be Omar Rodriguez, Luis Montanez, Victor Arredondo, Alberto Ramirez, Alejandro Mendez, Daniel Ibarra
