Ramona Gomez

Ramona Tobias Gomez 97 passed away Saturday June 4th, 2022, in Odessa.

Ramona Tobias Gomez was born in Cotulla, Texas to Victor and Maria Luisa Tobias on September 19, 1924. She married Pablo Gomez on December 18, 1940, in Edingburg, Texas.  She was very involved in her church ‘El Mesias’ and enjoyed reading her bible, as well as spending time with her family.

Ramona is preceded in death by Pablo Gomez Sr., Victor Gomez, Micaela Gomez, Pablo Gomez Jr., Epifana Lujan, and Juanita Flores.

Ramona is survived by Maria Luisa Gomez & husband Roland Gomez, Helen Gonzales, Jose Gomez, Elda Gomez, Antonia Aguliar, Emily Rodriguez, Ricardo Gomez & wife Debbie Gomez, Ricky Gomez, Rosalinda Gonzales & husband Ramiro Gonzales, and Robert Gomez & wife Juanita Gomez.

Ramona also leaves to cherish her memory numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and church family.

Visitation is set from 10Am-9PmThursday June 9, 2022, at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with a Prayer Service at 6pm with Reverend Jose Gutierrez officiating.

Graveside services are set for 10Am Friday June 10, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery in Ackerly, Texas located on Farm Market Rd 2212 with Reverend Jose Gutierrez officiating.

Pallbearers will be Kristy Rodriguez, Amy Green, Rosalinda Gonzales, Alexis Gomez, Jeanette Lujan, Deloras Shubert, Mary Reyes, and Emily Reyes and alternate Iris Betancourt.
